this website is a point of contact for local residents, who feel victim to the greedy and unscrupulous businessmen, who impact on our lifestyle and our way of life without a care for the consequences. Their only interest is the bottom line and the size of their bank balance. They are aided and abetted by a planning system, which is heavily loaded in their favour and marshalled by in our case, Cornwall Council, which is quite obviously not fit for purpose.
To add insult to injury, we pay a large chunk of this planning service's budget, through our annual Council Tax bills but whilst the instigators of our plight have continual access to the local planning service, we are at an immediate disadvantage with a lack of notice, followed by a disconnected community having to respond in a matter of a few weeks on a decision that will impact on us, for the rest of our lives.
We intend to change this, connect our community and fight back by stopping these constant insidious and inappropriate developments.
News
Our latest news is that whilst we have been away, nothing has changed. Greedy, arrogant developers have continued to flout building regs and the law. Continuing with their endless quest of ruining our community unchecked.
Although Carbis Bay Hotel's continued arrogant attitude to planning regulations and ignoring the law was eventually brought to account. Not before it had destroyed the local coastal countryside and wildlife. Which sadly, will not return to its original state.
